We are partnering with a couple community centers to offer scholarships for our two week co-ed bootcamp, which is designed as an introductory course for all Adult (18+ ages) job seekers who want to kick start their careers.
Students will learn welding theory while getting applied training in preparation for their GMAW / MIG certification test. After students take the certification tests they will have the opportunity to get a quick introduction to GTAW/ TIG and SMAW/Stick welding. By obtaining the 2F GMAW certification this will help them get their foot in the door with local employers who we are seeking new talent!

DAYS 1 – 7:
INTRO TO MIG (EN & ES)
Objective: This course is designed as an introductory course to Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG). Students will learn welding theory while getting applied training of welding in various positions. Students will focus on production welding with the end goal of workplace readiness. As a part of our efforts to make a positive impact in the Industry we are having all Level 1 and some Level 2 participate in our Job Readiness Program to set them up for a successful and long term career.

GMAW 2F CERTIFICATION TEST
Time: Typically 5:30PM-9:00PM
Testing details: The certification tests are administered at accredited testing facilities (ATF) and are accredited by American Welding Society (AWS).
INTRO TO TIG AND SMAW (EN & ES)
Students will have the opportunity to get an overview and quick introduction of TIG and Stick welding. No certifications will be available for TIG or Stick during this training.
