Youth Fall Break Camp

FALL BREAK CAMP DESCRIPTION:

In our project-based Youth Welding Camps, students experience team building, empowerment, creative expression, hands-on training, and find their voice. These clubs provide opportunities for students to engage with the community, develop job readiness skills through career exploration, and collaborate on real-world projects. All of Youth Programs are open to all families in and outside of Marion County.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

YOUTH FALL BREAK CAMP

Objective: Discover the world of MIG welding in our Youth Welding Camps, designed to be barrier-free for 6th-12th graders. Our emphasis on hands-on projects aims to kindle creativity, teamwork, and a lasting passion for metalworking. This immersive experience is crafted to empower the next generation with confidence and curiosity.

What sets us apart is our commitment to breaking barriers. In our camps, students not only acquire essential skills but also enjoy a barrier-free journey into the welding industry. Engaging guest speakers provide firsthand insights, ensuring that every participant, regardless of background, gains a solid foundation and career readiness.

Eligibility:

  • Middle School Students: 6th – 8th Graders
  • High School Students: 9th – 12th Graders

Location: Latinas Welding Guild

Tuition: $1,500 per student
