Youth Summer Break Camp

SUMMER BREAK CAMP DESCRIPTION:

In our project-based Youth Welding clubs, students experience team building, empowerment, creative expression, hands-on training, and find their voice. These clubs provide opportunities for students to engage with the community, develop job readiness skills through career exploration, and collaborate on real-world projects. All of Youth Programs are open to all families in and outside of Marion County.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

YOUTH SUMMER BREAK CAMP

Objective: Explore the excitement of our customizable and multisite-focused Barrier-Free Youth Welding Summer Camp, perfect for 6th-12th graders. Engage in hands-on MIG welding projects, fostering creativity, teamwork, and a passion for metalworking. This unique camp, beyond its core offerings, is customizable to cater to different interests. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to bring this enriching experience to various locations. Connect with us, as we are available for contracts to create tailored programs for any groups interested in unleashing the potential of youth through welding education. Join us for a dynamic and inclusive summer adventure that’s designed to be personalized and adaptable!

Eligibility:

  • Middle School Students: 6th – 8th Graders
  • High School Students: 9th – 12th Graders

Location: Latinas Welding Guild

Tuition: $1,500 per student

Hours: 40 Hours – We follow IPS School Year
Week(s): 2 weeks – Summer Break in June & July
Days: Monday – Friday
Time: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
